I arrived in Dakar on April, 2015 one month after a project in Niamey, Niger.  As an expatriate, Dakar was a thrilling journey filled with vibrant culture, unique experiences, and warm hospitality. Dakar, the National capital city of Senegal, offers a melting pot of flavors, sights and sounds that will leave you enchanted. Whether you're there for work or simply for vacation, Dakar promises to be an unforgettable destination. Button your seat belts while I take you through the areas to explore.
I left Ghana on the early hours of  Monday, 20th April via flight HF 501, Air Côte d'Ivoire to Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, Abidjan, an hour flight from KIA, Kotoka International Aiport, Accra, Ghana. We departed  FELIX  HOUPHOUET BOIGN AIRPORT at 1150GMT and arrived in DAKAR LEOPOLD SEDAR SENGHOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT  1435GMT, almost 2 hours 25 minutes.
I was picked up from the Airport by the transport manager and driven straight to Alcatel-Lucent Au Bureau at Almadie(Office) where I completed  necessary documentations, arrival, security briefing and introduced to the team I would be working  with, country and project managers.

Shortly after formalities, I was transfered to my hotel, FANA HOTEL, ALMADIE; where I spent two days before moving to mobilier at SCAT URBAM RUE GY 162 GRAND YOFF.  I visited many places while working in Dakar on Orange Project, one of them was Réserve de Bandia, located at Km 65 from Dakar, it is a wonderful wildlife reserve that offers a unique experience for nature enthusiasts. As you explore the reserve, you'll come across a diverse range of animals including giraffes, rhinos, zebras, antelopes, monkeys, and more. The reserve provides guided tours where you can learn fascinating facts about the animals and their natural habitats. You'll have the opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures up close in their natural surroundings and capture some amazing photographs. The reserve also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal while soaking in the beautiful scenery. Whether you're a wildlife lover or simply seeking an exciting adventure, Réserve de Bandia is definitely worth a visit!.Sure there is a big crocodile pond at  Reserve de Bandia, becareful so you dont become a meat for these crocs. My rest stop was  The White Sand Beach, Somone after Mbour.
